I specialise in the treatment of tinnitus, misophonia, hyperacusis, dizziness, vestibular-migraine, Meniere's disease, insomnia, and lung diseases.
In my practice I offer therapy to adults. I am registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
The primary treatment methods I use are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), but I also use techniques from other methods.
I have many years of experience working across the audio-vestibular and respiratory services at University College London Hospital (NHS).
This includes working in the Adult Clinical Psychology Department at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. This psychology department is part of one of the largest UK centres for patients with audiovestibular diseases. I also provide specialist psychological support for patients with respiratory diseases in the Department of Respiratory Medicine.
Before training as a Clinical Psychologist at Royal Holloway University of London, I enjoyed an academic career. I obtained an MSc in Health Psychology at University College London before being awarded a PhD from King’s College London for research on behaviour change and medical decision-making. After obtaining my PhD, I received a Behavioural Sciences Fellowship from Cancer Research UK and took up a Lectureship at King’s College London.
